About The Calc Library
18 free calculators across 3 categories, built to give you an answer without an account, a paywall, or a page of ads first.
Why this exists
Most calculator sites are built to serve advertising, not answers. You land on one looking for a monthly payment and find three pop-ups, a newsletter modal, and a result buried below a thousand words of filler.
The Calc Library takes the opposite approach. Every tool loads fast, works immediately, and puts the result at the top. The explanations sit below the calculator for anyone who wants them, not in front of it as a toll.
How the calculators work
Everything runs in your browser using standard, documented formulas — the amortization formula for loans, Mifflin-St Jeor for calorie needs, the US Navy circumference method for body fat, and so on. Each page names the formula it uses and states its limits, so you can check the working or take it elsewhere.
Nothing you type is sent anywhere. There is no server-side calculation, no logging of your inputs, and no analytics attached to the values you enter. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
What is here
- Finance — Work out loan payments, investment growth, and what things actually cost.
- Health & Fitness — Track body composition, calorie needs, and the numbers behind your goals.
- Math & Everyday — Percentages, dates, grades, and the quick arithmetic that comes up daily.
Accuracy and limits
These tools are for planning and general information. Financial calculators exclude fees, taxes, and lender-specific rules unless stated. Health calculators are population estimates and are not medical advice — talk to a clinician before acting on one. See the terms of use for the full position.
If you spot a result that looks wrong, tell us. Corrections are the fastest way to make the site better — get in touch.
What is coming
The library grows steadily. Planned additions include tax and payroll calculators, unit and currency converters, a scientific calculator, and more statistics tools. If something you need is missing, ask for it.
