Marketplace fee models change often, and several platforms in this set have altered theirs outright in recent years. These defaults are a starting point — your own seller terms are the authority.

Poshmark fees

17.6% of the $51.00 order

Commission$9.00
Payment processing$0.00
You receive$42.00
Fees per month$540

Commission applies to the item price only, so shipping the buyer paid passes through untouched by the selling fee. A flat fee applies below the threshold and a percentage above it, which creates a sharp step. Just above the threshold you keep less in absolute terms than just below it, so pricing at the boundary is worth avoiding.

How the Poshmark Fee Calculator works

Poshmark charges a flat fee below the threshold and a percentage above it, which creates a genuine dead zone. An item priced just above the threshold nets you less than the same item priced a penny below — and the earnings do not recover until well past it.

Not financial advice. Marketplace fees change, and they vary by country, plan and seller status. Every rate here is an editable default, not a quoted price — check the platform's current fee schedule before you price a product against it. This is not tax or business advice.

Frequently asked questions

What does Poshmark charge?

A flat fee of $2.95 on sales under $15, and 20% of the sale price on anything at or above it. There are no listing fees and no payment processing charged separately.

Where is the dead zone?

From the threshold up to roughly $14.75 in earnings terms. At $14.99 you keep $12.04; at $15 you keep $12. Earnings only exceed the just-below figure once the price passes about $15.05.

Is 20% high?

It is at the top end for resale platforms, but it includes payment processing, shipping label generation and buyer protection. The all-in comparison against platforms that split those out is closer than the headline suggests.

Who pays shipping?

The buyer pays a flat rate for a prepaid label, unless you choose to discount it. Because the label is flat-rate, heavy items are unusually economical to sell here.
